Emerge Leadership Forum was a Success!

This year's leadership conference was a success and the Association welcomed members to a variety of educational and informative sessions.  We offered two tracks for attendees:  the MSP track and the Printing track.

Attendees were able to see what successful members who have to chosen to stay with a traditional printing focus have done to remain successful.  Those who have ventured outside the traditional offerings of a Printer also shared how they chose what to offer and how they changed the culture in their shops to embrace change.

Jim Kyger, PIA, opened the Conference with a Round Table on HR Issues.  He shared new information and brought everyone up-to-date on current issues.  He identified useful tools and resources to quickly obtain human resources information specifically related to the printing industry.

On Sunday night, we held the Grand Ceremony, our honoring of those who won Best-of-Category in the 2014 Print Excellence Awards.  Attendees were invited to vote for their favorites in the People's Choice Award balloting.  Hopkins Printing won with their Cuban Forever Exhibition Catalogue for the Pizzuti Collection and many beautiful awards were taken home to be shared with employees and customers.

Closing out a full day of sessions on Monday was Joe Manos, Mindfire.  He gave a very dynamic presentation on Multi-channel Marketing & Automation and was greatly enjoyed by all who attended.  Following the final presentation was Casino Night.  Several members were invited to deal and fun was had by all.  A year's worth of Training from PIA's iLearning Center and a flat-screen television were won by savvy bettors.

Capping off the conference was the Golf Tournament on Tuesday.  Although a little chilly at the start, the day was beautiful and the tournament provided much opportunity for networking and visiting with friends in the industry.

We thank our sponsors, speakers and attendees for another great Conference!
