Glatfelter Considers Plant Sale, Other Options
Glatfelter, the paper products maker based in York, PA, announced their fourth quarter 2017 results, including a plan to explore strategic alternatives for their Specialty Papers business unit.
The Specialty Papers division includes production facilities in Chillicothe, Ohio and Spring Grove, PA.
The Columbus Dispatch reported on Wednesday, February 7th, that the company will continue operations at all locations as usual for now. The York Daily Record also reported that, "Being up for sale doesn't mean it's closing," according to Spring Grove borough manager, Andrew Shaffer.
