Presenter: Steve Gross, Lean Operations Officer, The Lorenz Corporation
Steve Gross, Lean Operations Officer at The Lorenz Corporation will be presenting, "Can A Printer Be Lean?" Founded in 1890, The Lorenz Corporation prints, warehouses and fulfills its own products as well as publications for many other publishers. Long an industry leader in technology and applying it to improve business practices, Lorenz embraced a commitment to Lean Manufacturing principles in 2005.
Steve will speak from a printing company perspective about what is considered lean, while sharing personal experiences about Lorenz's journey. Steve will discuss the results that lean manufacturing has produced and how he would improve on his processes.
