Three Days of Excitement - Fair, Industry Topics & Golf

As the Ohio State Fair closes on Sunday, August 4, we will just be beginning the festivities for the 2013 Leadership and Management Conference at Quest Business Centers in Columbus.  We invite you to Come to Printers' Day and Stay for the Conference!

Printers' Day at the Fair

Join us for a FREE day at the Ohio State Fair with your friends, family and colleagues!  All printing industry employees (members and non-members) will receive free admission this day!  Family members get into the fair for only $2.00.  Stop by our booth in the Marketplace and from 1:00 – 3:00 pm there will be a FREE lunch in The Cardinal Shelter.

The conference begins on Sunday evening, with a special reception for new and renewing Printing Industries Education Funds, (PIEF) scholarship recipients.  We will host a special recognition for our PIEF Scholars.

Following that, you’ll need to get your poker faces on as we celebrate with our friends and colleagues at Casino Night.  Games will include Texas Hold ‘em, Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and slot machines.

Refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres will be served throughout the evening.

Beginning the next morning, Monday, August 5, the conference continues with a full day of great presentations.

The Keynote Begins a Full Day of Fabulous Presentations

We’ll kick off the conference with a keynote address by industry leader, Michael Makin, President of the Printing Industries of America, giving us a vivid picture of the State of the Printing Industry. Dr. Mark Bohan, PIA’s Vice President of Technology and Research will follow with a look at future technologies, Technologies To Shape and Influence Your Business.

At lunch, we’ll hear from four insurance industry experts about how the upcoming ObamaCare legislation can and will affect our businesses and our personal lives.

In our informative breakout sessions, you will learn about ways to enhance your sales strategies to increase sales with current clients and to be a better consultative salesperson, the ins and outs of social marketing to improve your sales and to offer social media programs to your clients, how to harness the Dynamics of Success in the Emerging Ink-jet Marketplace, and creating profitable sales compensation plans.
